Multi-instrumentalists and vocalists Sruli and Lisa play the clarinet, violin, accordion, bass recorder, cello and drum, and perform and teach Klezmer and Hasidic music and dance all over the country. They have been called "Superb musicians!" by the Los Angeles Times.

They have performed live on Polish National Television and Radio, were the featured Klezmer performers on PBS-TV's "Another Mitzvah," performed the klezmer soundtrack for the Showtime Movie "The Devil's Arithmetic,"and frequently perform live on National Public Radio. Sruli and Lisa played sold-out runs of both "A Klezmer's Tale" and "Kids and Yiddish" at the Folksbiene Yiddish Theatre with Zalmen Mlotek which the New York Times called "Warm, tuneful and sprightly!"

Sruli and Lisa are on staff at KlezKanada and regularly teach Klezmer and Yiddish music at the Workmen's Circle schools. They also conduct and teach at musician's workshops, including Klezmer Wochen Weimar, in Germany. They perform at many prestigious festivals such as the Jewish Festival in Cracow, Poland, the Ashkenaz Festival in Toronto, The Lower East Side Festival, the Tidewater Jewish Festival in Virginia, and on world renowned stages like the Walter Reade Theater at Lincoln Center, The Museum of Jewish Heritage, The Jewish Museum, Temple Emanu-El, the National Yiddish Book Center, Grand Central Station and The Franklin Institute.

They have performed with Peter Yarrow of Peter, Paul and Mary, and have a happily busy schedule performing at concert halls, JCC's synagogues and schools, public and private from coast to coast, and of course at hundreds of weddings, Bar and Bat Mitzvahs and other simchas. You can also catch them at downtown clubs in New York City like The Knitting Factory, and Tonic.

Their newest project, "The Singing Table," with famed Klezmer pioneer Michael Alpert, is a musical celebration of the Hasidic Tish, and just returned from headlining at the Cracow Jewish Festival in Poland. It has been featured at the CUNY Graduate Center and at New York City's Neo-Hasidic Festival.

Sruli and Lisa's Klezmer for Kids concerts are famous from coast to coast, and were created especially for the next generation of klezmorim. Their best-selling albums "Oy Vey!" and Oy Vey Chanukah!" have been called "A delight from start to finish!"by the Los Angeles Times. Look for their brand new album, "Klezmer Dance Party!"

Join Sruli and Lisa for a concert or simcha—as Kathy O'Connel from WXPN said: "I love these guys! They're only two people and they sound like a whole orchestra!"
